What a ‘Voice’ and a worthy winner of Season 1 of the phenomenally popular TV show of the same name. I remember watching Karise audition and hearing her Janis Joplinesque voice as she sang ‘It’s a man’s world’ that literally turned heads, melted hearts and won the vote of the Australian public right there and then! :) What I love about Karise is that she is so down to earth and simple, it’s almost like she was oblivious to how good she really was in being given an extraordinary gift. Karise is also really attractive because of her humble heart and simple love for music and the joy it brings to others lives. She was always my favourite singer on the ‘Voice’ and I’m so glad that she won. My Journey features 7 of her ‘Voice’ performances such as, ‘It’s a man’s world’, ‘Back to Black’, ‘Landslide’, ‘Hallelujah’ and other great songs like, ‘You Won’t Let Me’, ‘Dock of the Bay’ and ‘Move over’.
